Pageant of the Masters - Laguna Beach
Each night during the summer season at 8:30 the Festival of
Arts presents its most famous attraction, the Pageant of the
Masters. What is it?
Ninety minutes of "living pictures" - incredibly
faithful art re-creations of classical and contemporary works
with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts
in the original pieces. An outdoor amphitheater, professional
orchestra, original score, live narration, intricate sets,
sophisticated lighting, expert staff, and hundreds of dedicated
volunteers have won recognition for the Pageant as the best
presentation of its kind.

The Orange County Fair - Costa Mesa
The 110th annual Orange County Fair is the premier family
attraction in Southern California offering a wide variety
of exhibits, foods, entertainment, rides and hands-on activities.
There is something for everybody at the Fair including the
summer headline concert series, working farm and petting zoos,
thrill rides, contests, and games.

Outdoor Summer Concert Series - Buena Park
During July the Buena Park Fine Arts Commission presents a
variety of free, live music groups, at 7 p.m. each Wednesday

This surfing and extreme sports festival attracts world-class
athletes from across the globe and features the US Open of
Surfing, along with skateboarding, inline skating and BMX

International Street Fair - Orange
International foods, crafts, folk dancing and music. Many
different ethnic groups participate in the Street Fair every
year. They provide food, drink, entertainment and crafts to
the visitors, often presenting themselves in ethnic costume.
The Street Fair has become known for the variety of food reflecting
cuisine from around the world.

Vintage at the Mission - San Juan Capistrano
An annual celebration produced by the San Juan Capistrano

Oktoberfest at Old World Village - Huntington Beach
Old World Village, a replica of a Bavarian town, sponsors

Treats in the Streets - Orange
The streets surrounding the Old Towne Plaza are closed off
to traffic and Old Towne merchants decorat their shops and
hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Families also enjoy games,

Newport Harbor Cristmas Boat Parade -
Newport Beach
Newport Harbor - More than 200 boats cruise the harbor decorated
in dazzling lights. This week-long boat parade, the largest
and oldest of its kind in Southern California, lasts about
two-and-a-half hours.

Tree-Lighting Ceremony - Orange
Began in the 1920's, this two-day Christmas event offers a
Candlelight Choir Procession ending with their spectacular
treelighting. A typical program includes the lighting of the
menorah, candlelight orchestra, bell choir, presentation of
colors by local Girl Scout Troop, lighting of the tree and
speeches by city officials.
