Mission San Juan Capistrano - San Juan

The mission is famous today as the northern home for the swallows
that arrive in mid-March and leave in mid-October for an approximately
6,000 mile migration to Goya, Argentina. As early as 1777,
the mission archives had already noted the regular appearance
of these birds and a village festival to welcome them had
already become tradition.
Festival of Whales - Dana Point
It's time for the whales to make their annual trip down south
and the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce will celebrate with
their 9th Annual Street Fair, which is part of the 29th Whale
Festival with a weekend of fun, food, entertainment and an
arts & craft show with over 100 vendors

KOREAN FESTIVAL - Garden Grove
Celebrating Korean history, tradition and culture, this family
oriented event is scheduled annually for April. Featuring
a parade, and carnival, the event includes an open-air market.
Displays of performing arts and martial arts are scheduled
throughout the three days. The Korean Festival Association
is responsible for coordinating the festival.

UCI Annual Open House - Irvine

Newport Beach Film Festival - Newport Beach
More than 170 features, shorts, documentaries, and animated
films will compete for a series Jury Awards and Audience Awards.
In addition to film screenings, the Festival will host several
premiere galas, yacht parties, and question and answer sessions
with filmmakers.
