This beach is the favorite amongst the locals and the tourists visiting the place. With plenty of eating joints fitting everybody's budget.
Some of the venues along Main include Studio Café, Huntington Beach Beer Company, Hurricanes, The Longboard and many more.
Cool beach boutiques also line the street, like Jack's Surf Shop, Sakal and HB Surf.
If you are interested in watching the film just head towards Pierside 6. summer brings along an arts and crafts fair at Pier Plaza, and evenings enjoy the summer concerts. There is alos an option of renting rollerblades, play volleyball, or just choose to walk along the sand. The beach offers something for everyone.

Originally built in 1914 it was reduced to ruins in the 1980's because of the angry storms. Rebuilt recently there are excellent places to dine here. starting from Duke's Barefoot Bar and Restaurant to Chimayo's to Ruby's a 50's style hamburger joint. There is plenty of action during summer with numerous festivals, fairs and events, and live music.
Featuring sporting events like the US Surfing Open and the Pro-Am Beach Volleyball Championships there is lot of action here every year.
People who do not want to involve in action can just go in for people watching both on the boardwalk as well as in the waters below. There are also number of numerous boutiques, surf shops, bars and restaurants.

Favorites of the campers, the Doheny Beach offers plenty of activities right from fishing, swimming, surfing, diving, to riding, camping and barbecuing. Named after Edward L. Doheny who discovered oil in Southern California, the beach has showers, barbecues and picnic tables as well as beachfront campsites for both RV's and tents.
This is one of the Beaches immortalized by the Beach Boys song "Surfing USA". The Doheny State Marine Life Refuge-an underwater park for divers, nearby is an interpretive center that showcases variety of wildlife. Doheny also has a five mile San Juan Creek Bike Trail and an equestrian trail that heads to San Juan Capistrano.

 
     
  Salt Creek Beach - Dana Point  
 

The long, sandy beach is a popular surfing spot. Both upland and beach facilities can be reached from Ritz Carlton Dr. off Pacific Coast Highway. Parking and wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available at a large metered parking lot, open 6 AM-midnight, on Ritz Carlton Drive.
From the west side of the lot, a paved path leads to the beach and to the grassy seven-acre Bluff Park, which has benches, barbecue grills, picnic tables, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms.
Just south of Ritz Carlton Dr., a pedestrian gate, open 24 hours, leads through the Ritz Carlton Hotel grounds to a paved path along the bluff above Salt Creek Beach; the path, which skirts the southern perimeter of the grounds, has numerous benches and overlooks providing views of gray whale migration routes, Catalina Island, and the coastline.
At its northern end, the path joins a paved multi-use trail leading north along the shoreline past Bluff Park. Several stairways and paths lead from the multi-use trail to the beach, changing rooms, outdoor showers, restrooms, snack bar, firepits, and a path along the seawall. Paths and trails lead north and east through a golf course and along Salt Creek, a scenic corridor featuring small parks and several miles of trails.
The southern entrance to Salt Creek Beach Park is off Selva Rd. and features picnic fables, barbecue grills, restores, and path and stairs to the beach. The parking lot is open 6 AM-midnight.

 
     
  EASTON'S BEACH

(also known as First Beach) faces south with the northern starting point of Cliff Walk as one of its ends. There are special events on Tuesday evenings including Family Nights, with concerts beginning at 6:30 PM. Thursday evenings feature a children's show. There are a couple of surf shops just over the line in Middletown and there are also several restaurants and bars that cater to the beach crowds. The season runs from Memorial Day weekend and ends on Labor Day weekend. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 AM to 6 PM. Admission: Seasonal parking stickers for residents $10, non-residents $20. Daily parking $7 weekdays and $10 weekends.

Vista park has beautiful 180 degree ocean and coastal views Cresent Bay is located in North Laguna off the bluffs of Cliff Drive. This marine refuge area offers fantastic areas for scuba and snorkeling. Big Hollow waves offer some of the best body surfing.
