Home of the most loved mouse
in the world, Disneyland is one of the greatest attractions
in Anaheim, Orange County that draws tourists from all over
world. A land debarred from anxieties and troubles and can
be called the happiest land on the planet not only for the
kids but for the parents too. You can't help but be happy
in 'the happiest place on earth'. Built in 1955 the world's
first and biggest amusement resort has number of "LANDS"
in it. Park is divided into Adventure land, Frontier land,
Fantasyland, Mickey's toon, New Orleans Square, Tomorrows
Land and Cittercountry.
True to every word Adventure Land is for the adventurous ones
where you move around the African Jungles dodging poison darts
and snakes while looking out for ancient work of art, or simply
taking a look at the village shops.
Then move to Frontier land that nestles the dreams and the
ideals of our forefathers. Right from the mode of transportation
on the Rivers of America to the western-themed shows, shops
and eateries.
Enter the fairy tale land, the "Fantasyland" where
you may want to attend "a mad tea party" or ride
a "small world" and the magical world of Sleeping
Beauty Castle worlds of Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan,
Dumbo, Mr. Toad, Alice and Pinocchio await you. Meet the mouse
himself along with the rest of the gang that includes Minnie,
Donald, Goofy, and Roger Rabbit in the Mickey's Toon Town.
The Tomorrow land is the "A World on the Move,"
where you see the ever-changing expanse of technology and
invention. Enjoy the rides in like Star Tours and Space Mountain,
to viewing the revolving education center called Innovations.
Future World is a combination of amusement and educational
park.

Located just directly across
Disneyland, California Adventure is a new separate theme park.
Spread across 55 acres of land and comprising of numerous
attractions it is still significantly smaller than it neighbor,
the Disney land. Divided into different zones, California
Adventure highlights Golden State," a land describing
the richness and diversity of California; its natural resources;
and spirit and voice of its people. Golden state is divided
into: Condor Flats, Bountiful Valley Farm, Pacific Wharf,
Bay Area, Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, and Golden Vine Winery.
Explore the Bountiful Valley where you can take a look at
the humorous side of the insect life and explore the Farmers
Expo. Discover the Pacific Warf, which is the water front
district in the Golden State.
The tour is not complete till you visit "Hollywood"
Disney field Hollywood Boulevard and Disney animation studios.
Get to see the California beachside culture in the form of
an old boardwalk amusement park.
The last zone Paradise Pier captures the Golden age of Amusement
Parks with wild rides. One of the favorite ride is the California
Screamin', a 1000-foot-long roller coaster that zooms to 55
miles per hour in six seconds.

Buena Parks claim to fame is
Knott's Berry Farm, the oldest theme park in the United States.
Located in the south west of Los Angeles, Knott's was founded
in 1920 by Walter and Cordelia Knott.
This land of Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy, is mostly associated
the tasty jams, jellies and syrup selling berries, plants,
then eventually jams and finally is still famous are the famous
chicken dinners that are served in their restaurant even today.,
Knott's Berry Farm once really was a working berry farm. Today
it features a mix of thrill and children's rides
Spread over 160 acres of land the park continues with its
old West Themes like staging gun fights gold panning demonstrations
and steam-train rides. It also hosts the Halloween Party,
which is probably Southern California's scariest party.
Spend a day exploring the six themed areas...Ghost Town, Camp
Snoopy, Indian Trails, Fiesta Village, the Boardwalk and Wild
Water Wilderness. Enjoy 165 rides in the park, including the
longest, tallest wooden roller coaster in the West, GhostRider.
The best one being the Supreme Scream, which raises riders
30 stories high, then drops them to ground level in under
three seconds.
Some of the best bets are:
Ghost Rider - the thirty story "scream ride" is
the best wooden coaster. From the queue to the first drop,
then through the turns, dips and bunny hops, GhostRider offers
an unmatched blend of theme and thrills.
Log Ride - One of the best rides with 9 rating. It is a flume
ride and riders under 46 inches tall must be accompanied by
an adult.
Mystery Lodge - It is a show with 8 as its rating and Native
American storytelling goes high tech with special effects.
Montezooma's Revenge - It is a 48 inches roller coaster with
8 as its rating. Calico Railroad - It is a railroad with 8
as its rating and watch out for bandits on this steam train
ride around the park.
Also check out the live entertainment like the Wild West Stunt
show, where cowboys show their jigs like shooting, rolling
stunts, and the reenactments at Independence Hall.

Fun Zone was rebuilt from the ground in 1986. the Fun Zone's
ferris wheel has been a landmark on the Newport Harbor since
then.
This amusement area has plenty to offer. Enjoy the rides in
Fun Zone's ferris wheel, merry-go-round, bumper cars scary
dark - scary- ride-boats or go on a harbor cruise and whale-
watching excursions. There are paddleboats and kayak available
on rents for those who like to go out on their own. After

Spread across 2,000 acres this
undeveloped woodland comprises of three miles of beautiful
beachfront at the magnificent Crystal Cove State Park.
The woodlands area of the park offers camping, hiking, horseback
riding and mountain biking, with about 17 miles of double-
and single-track trails.
The beach side of the park features fantastic tide pools,
whereas the offshore waters help in forming an underwater
preserve.
